Members of the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA) who are physicians, scientists and allied health professionals whose mission is to lead the field of apheresis through patient and donor care, research, education and advocacy. Apheresis is a medical technology in which the blood of a donor or patient is passed through an apparatus that separates out one particular constituent and returns the remainder to the circulation. All members receive the JOURNAL OF CLINICAL APHERESIS as part of their membership.
