Members of the SOCIETY OF HOSPITAL MEDICINE (SHM) who are hospitalists-physicians whose primary professional focus is the general medical care of hospitalized patients. Hospitalists' activities include patient care, teaching, research and leadership related to hospital care. Members also consist of residents, medical students, health care policy analysts, medical libraries as well as nurses and physician assistants. List also contains non-member buyers and inquirers of manuals, books and conferences by the SHM. All members receive THE HOSPITALIST and JOURNAL OF HOSPITAL MEDICINE as part of their membership.
