Members of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP) who are physicians with a special interest in the study and treatment of obesity and associated conditions. The society encourages excellence in the practice of bariatric medicine through the exchange of information, research, and continuing education. They also implement research programs in conjunction with The Obesity Foundation; a philathropic organization seeking to control and cure the disease of obesity. Members of ASBP receive THE BARIATRICIAN JOURNAL and NEWS FROM ASBP as part of their membership.
