Members of American Assocation of Ambulatory Surgery Centers who are surgeons with various specialities in office-based settings. Members seek to provide improved surgical care at lower costs, to further educate surgeons and to make patients and insurers aware of the benefit office-based surgery. AAASC members, consisting of 60% physicians and 40% nurses and administraion, receive the MONITOR newsletter (quarterly) as part of their membership. NOTE: Formerly the American Society of Outpatient Surgeons and Society of Office-Based Surgeons. Also known as the AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER ASSOCIATION (ASC Association).
