Members of the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization (NATCO) who are nurses and allied health professionals working with organ recipients and those working to obtain and distribute human organs and tissues to waiting victims of end-stage organ failure. It seeks to influence increased procurement and use of transplantable organs and tissues under the direction of individuals and institutions responsible for the employment of members. Disseminates information regarding the benefits of organ transplantation, new techniques in organ procurement, advancements in immunology and preservation, transplant surgery, and other aspects of organ transplantation. Members receive JOURNAL OF TRANSPLANT COORDINATION (3/yr), NATCO Newsletter (quarterly), and a membership directory.
