Members of the American Society of Cytopathology (ASC) who are cytologists, pathologists and clinicians with M.D.'s, nonmedical professional personnel (Ph.D's) and cytotechnologists interested in cytology, the biological study of the formation, structure and function of cells. The society seeks to make the cytological method of early cancer detection universally available to potential victims. Note: Association formerly called the American Society of Cytology.
