Members of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), who are industrial-organizational psychologists and others who hold a doctorate degree based in part upon a psychological dissertation conferred by a graduate school of recognized standing, or are engaged in professional work that is primarily psychological in nature. The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psycholgoy is Division 14 of the American Psychological Association and is also and organizational affiliate of the American Psychological Society. The Society's mission is to enhance well being and performance in organizational and work settings by promoting the science, practice, and teaching of industrial-organizational psychology.
