The Institute of Real Estate Management helps set performance and ethics standards in the field of property management. Membership entails certification and the awarding of the title CPM (Certified Property Manager). IREM members work in the areas of site, property and asset management and as managers of office buildings, shopping centers, apartments and condominiums with an overall value of over a trillion dollars. All members receive the JOURNAL OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT as part of their membership.
