Members of the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH), who are scholars and professionals in allied fields such as architecture, historic preservation, and planning. The mission of the society is to advance knowledge and understanding of the history of architecture, landscape, design, and urbanism worldwide. The society sponsors the pursuit and presentation of scholarly research; provides publications that disseminate scholarly work, professional information, and general information related to the field and of interest to the public; and supports the preservation of historic places and cultural heritage. As part of their membership, members receive the JOURNAL OF THE SOCIETY OF ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIANS (quarterly), and the SOCIETY OF ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIANS NEWSLETTER (bimonthly).
