Members of the INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS (IMA), formerly the National Association of Accountants. Members are predominantly accountants, corporate & divisional controllers, CPAs, treasurers and mid to upper-level management executives in managerial finance & accounting. About 1/3 of the IMA membership are Certified Management Accountants (CMA), a designation of advanced mastery of comprehensive management & accounting skills. Members represent a wide variety of organizations, including family-run businesses, private firms, not-for-profit organizations, government & academic institutions, small & large publicly-trade companies and multi-national corporations.
